Parent Feedback For Sleep Support
We have told all of our parent friends and family who are struggling with sleep due to their child (first or third) to call Joanna. Her sleep consulting company is the best investment we have made in our sanity and sleep schedule. At 9 months old, our daughter went from waking up 3 or 4 times per night and transitioning to our bed in the middle of the night, to sleeping through the night uninterrupted in her own crib in just 2 weeks.
What we like most about working with Joanna is her ability to specialize a plan based on our parenting style, our daughter’s personality, and our goals as a family. For instance, we were highly wary of the Ferber method when we were looking for a sleep consultant. I emphasized to Joanna that I did not want to hear my daughter cry, but I also desperately wanted her to sleep in her own bed. With this in mind, Joanna was able to create a two phase sleep method that allowed us to comfortably transition our baby into her own bed and finally snag a full night’s sleep.
Joanna always made herself available to answer one-off questions via email and responded in a timely manner. Additionally, as our baby (now toddler) has grown and her napping and sleep habits have changed, Joanna has spoken with us again to discuss how we can make slight alterations to her schedule. Thanks to Joanna we have a happy, well rested toddler.

Our 9-month-old Otis struggled with naps from day one. We had done so much nap work (including hiring a local nap consultant around 6 months of age), but it wasn't until we hired Joanna that he finally began napping on a schedule, by himself, in his crib. Everything she suggested she backed up with scientific research, which made it so easy to buy into and follow. She was very sensitive to what we felt we could do, and had back-up ideas in the event we weren't comfortable. She's been so generous answering our questions and fine tuning through email. Her consistent, science-backed ideas have finally made me feel confident that when things get bumpy, we know how to respond. That is saying something, as most of Otis's life we have felt like we were flailing around, despite reading about baby sleep on the internet at nauseum! If you are having trouble with baby sleep, I highly suggest a sleep consultation with her!

Joanna helped our whole family get some sleep again! From nighttime to nap time, she helped us craft an overall plan our family felt comfortable with and that helped our 7 month old sleep better. We have continued to reaching out to Joanna for help throughout the past 10 months and continue to look for her guidance as patterns change. She is very responsive and has been great in ensuring we are comfortable with the approaches and modifying plans to meet our needs.

Client Feedback For Emotional Wellness
Working with Joanna for the past eleven years has honestly been a game changer for our son, Luke. Joanna came into our lives when Luke was 3 years old and heading into preschool. Initially, working with his diagnosis of ASD, she came on to help him with a multitude of communication, social and life skills in both the educational and home setting. With Joanna’s concrete tactics and strategies, Luke excelled. As Luke grew, and the expectations on him shifted and changed, so did Joanna’s role. She began working with him on life’s “grey” areas and helping him to “read” these situations. This required a psychological flexibility that was new to his more literal brain and was tough for him, especially in social settings. Left unexamined these “grey areas” would have caused Luke’s anxiety to rise so having Joanna on hand to help him tease out in ways that he could understand was crucial. At present, Luke is a rising 9th grader who has developed into a thoughtful young adult with a sense of ownership over his own emotional wellness. He continues his sessions with Joanna to help him navigate the ever changing challenges of being a teen in today’s world.
