Whether it is getting them to sleep in their own bed, trouble falling or staying asleep, or even
just cooperating with a bedtime routine many families struggle with bedtime battles. Learn
how associations, schedules, environment, and behavior can be altered to solve some of the
most challenging sleep problems and help everyone get a good night’s sleep.

Positive Discipline
Positive Discipline is a buzz word for describing healthy discipline practices, but what does it really mean? If you have been trying to implement positive discipline in your house but feel that you are coming up short or need some support, attending this workshop will provide you with the answers and tools you’re looking for. We will explore the meaning of positive discipline and the keys to effective discipline. In addition we will identify why children behave the way they do, and barriers that may be effecting your parenting.
Raising a Healthy Eater
Pasta and chicken fingers again? If you're working hard to expand your child's palate but feel like you are getting nowhere, you will learn useful tools to use after attending this workshop. Taste, temperature, texture, color, preconceived notions and parental pressure all have an impact over your child's willingness to try new foods. Learn what works (and what doesn't) to limit mealtime struggles.
Understanding the Emotional Brain
Emotions have an impact on learning. They influence our ability to process information and to
accurately understand what we encounter. But how much do parents really know about
emotions? There has never been a more important time to look more closely at how emotions
impact our children. Youth are presenting with higher rates of anxiety, depression, suicidal
thoughts, and substance abuse making it difficult for them to be fully present in the learning
environment and functioning members of society. During this workshop we will explore the
emotional system, gain a better understanding of how it impacts behavior and learn effective
strategies to incorporate emotional resilience into parenting.
